About Chuck Bell

Welcome to the Chuck Bell Music Store.  This is the store front for chuckbellmusic.com.

I took an interest in music at a young age.  At 5 years old, I began studying piano.  That adventure lasted through college when I graduated from Webster University (St. Louis, MO) with a degree in Commercial Music (film scoring and jingle writing).  Between 5 and 23 years of age, I played for hundreds of events from weddings to private parties and lounges to cafés.  From 1991 until 1995, I took a summer stock theatre job with Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Company.  It was during that time that I realized how important music plays in transitions from one “scene” to the next.  This knowledge overlaid seamlessly once I began working full-time with United Methodist Church in 1996 planning and producing traditional and contemporary corporate worship experiences.

Over the last 23 years, I have actively planned and produced over 3,850 corporate worship services in varying worship styles. I served as the Coordinator of Musicians for the 2012 General Conference of the United Methodist Church, where I assisted Dr. Marcia McFee in planning and musically directing and executing 27 worship services in 10 days.

After serving 18 years in the local church, I am now a full-time Worship Consultant assisting churches of all denominations with their Music and Arts Ministry as well as visioning for all worship styles.   I have traveled nationally as a clinician, arranger and musician.

My work with the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church did not end in the local church.  I continue to serve the greater church within the denomination as well.  I served as Music Director for the 2015 North Georgia Annual Conference, and have musically directed UMC Annual Conferences in West Ohio, Kentucky, the Dakotas and Minnesota.   I have organized and lead worship bands for local and national retreats and conferences, including the 2016 Extended Cabinet Summit for the United Methodist Council of Bishops, the 2016 National CEF Conference and multiple RevItUp! Conference

Outside of the church environment, I have shared music with millions of people as an NHL organist for the (now Winnipeg Jets) Atlanta Thrashers (2001 - 2011) and with the Atlanta Hawks from 2006 - 2008.

I’ve enjoyed writing soundbeds and jingles for independent projects, and love hearing my girls sing songs that I write for them.  Through all those experiences, the opportunity to play alongside others for a “greater” purpose has been a driving force for my passion.....I am in a pursuit for God though music, and invite others, on a regular basis to join me on that journey.....it’s at those moments when I feel like I’m doing what God created me to do.

The collections you'll find here are the direct result of that pursuit of God.....Arrangements of hymns, original songs, and a whole host of other items.  They've been used in small and large settings, and have been well received by many.  New arrangements are being added monthly.  Feel free to contact me if you are interested in having a piece commissioned, or have any questions.

Hope to see you back here soon!  And don't miss the opportunity to download any of the free arrangements!
